Hickory Bend Recreation Area
WoodsHickory Bend Recreation Area is roughly 175 acres of rolling oak-hickory timber mixed with a few open fields. Its quality hardwood timber coupled with its remote location and inaccessibility make it a great destination for hunters and wildlife viewers. It is only accessible via a half mile hike down the Flint River Trail. It is one of the county's least developed areas having no amenities or structures on site and is managed solely for natural resources and hunting opportunity.

Directions:
From Highway 61, turn west down Iowa City Rd. and go approximately 1.6 miles (the road will bend around to the north). MapThen turn left (west) on 155th St. and go approximately 2 miles. At the stop sign, turn right (north) and go approximately 0.3 miles. The access road will be on the left.
